1. Introduction


Welcome to Vanguard — a digital music tournament and creative competition platform. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this User Agreement.
Vanguard is operated by Kirill Kasatskiy, who provides the technology and infrastructure that powers musical events, user submissions, judging, content discovery, and editorial promotion.

2. Platform Functionality


The platform provides:

- User dashboard and profile page ("Artist Card")
- Ability to upload musical content and manage personal information
- Access to public event listings, including contests, brackets, and tournaments
- Participation in events as artists, judges, or organizers
- Music player and submission viewer
- Voting and rating systems for competition judging
- Event creation tools for organizers (based on internal access rights)
- Editorial and promotional media including podcasts, compilations, social posts, and interviews

The platform may evolve or expand its feature set without prior notice.

3. User Roles


Upon registration, users gain access to general site features, including music playback and browsing. Users may adopt the following roles:

- Listener – can browse and listen to content
- Participant – submits music and competes in events
- Judge – evaluates submissions according to event rules
- Organizer – creates and manages competitions (by invitation or access rights)
- Administrator/Moderator – manages users, reviews content, ensures safety

Users may hold multiple roles simultaneously.

4. Event Participation


- Each event may have specific eligibility requirements, deadlines, rules, and fees
- By participating in an event, the user agrees to the Terms of Competition and specific rules set by the Organizer
- Events may be free or paid. Any fees will be clearly stated in the event description
- Organizers are solely responsible for the execution and results of their events

5. Acceptable Use and Behavior


Users agree to:

- Refrain from hate speech, harassment, threats, or abuse
- Submit original or properly licensed content only
- Follow community guidelines and applicable laws

Vanguard reserves the right to remove any content or account that violates these terms, without refund or notice.

6. Content Moderation


- Vanguard and its moderators monitor platform content to maintain a respectful and competitive environment
- Content violating law, decency, or competition fairness may be removed
- Reports and flags are reviewed manually, and repeat violations may lead to account suspension

7. Editorial and Promotional Use


Vanguard produces editorial and promotional content such as music compilations, podcast episodes, interviews, social media features, and highlight reels.

By using the platform or participating in events, you understand that your public profile, submitted content (in full or part), and event performance may be referenced or featured in such materials.

These materials are used solely to promote the community, events, and participating artists. No direct revenue will be generated from your content without separate agreement.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty


The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Vanguard does not guarantee uptime, data availability, feedback volume, or contest outcomes.

9. Privacy and Data Use


Use of the platform implies consent to the Privacy Policy. Personal data is processed by the Operator on behalf of event organizers.

10. Updates and Modifications


This agreement may be updated at any time. Material changes will be announced through the platform. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the latest version.
